Envision

Envision

Envision was established in 2004 by Helen Wilson, who is the lead consultant on all contracts. Prior to going freelance with Envision, Helen worked for ten years in the voluntary sector in Edinburgh. Her work largely focused on developing and supporting person centred approaches to enable people to lead meaningful lives in community.

Helen is an experienced facilitator with over 25 years experience of working with organisations and teams. She began her career working predominantly in the fields of health and social care, working with inspiring leaders in the inclusion movement to pioneer person centred approaches to planning and support. This is where her journey with graphic facilitation began and she is still passionate about using graphics to achieve positive outcomes for individuals.

Helen's Background

Helen's Background

Helen’s first degree was in English literature and French and she subsequently gained qualifications in counselling (COSCA), mediation, facilitation and consultancy (Craighead Institute). Ten years ago, Helen took some time out to qualify as a primary school teacher and since then she has combined the roles of teaching, training and facilitation. She also took on a part-time lecturing role in Initial Teacher Training. All this gives her a fairly unique blend of experience, encompassing the voluntary, public, private and education sectors.

Envision is currently based in the East Riding of Yorkshire and Helen undertakes work throughout the UK.

Client Feedback…

"Our team away day was a creative, very focused and enjoyable experience which was very well structured and facilitated by Helen. It was a really valuable use of the limited time we had and the team was left with an action plan that they feel very motivated to carry through. The graphic record that Helen created during the process felt like a real celebration of our team and its achievements."
